Saturday Club Run to Delamere

It was a multi disciplined outing to Delamere Station Cafe on Saturday afternoon.

Pete on his E bike, Woody on his commuter, Jack on his vintage racer, Nigel, Dave H and Nigel on winter bikes and Roger, Dave W, Bennett & yours truly Fred W risked going out on the initially wet roads on our summer bikes (well it is July) with a couple of miles of gravel riding on the route.

Most of us diverted through Gawsworth on the way back to meet up with MTBers in the Kings Head. On Woodhouse Lane the bunch became a lot larger when we swallowed up a number from Clitheroe CC who were on a away day in what for them must be the deep south and thanks in some part to Clitheroe to cap of a good ride I got a Strava PB on that segment!.
