Sunday Easy Ride to Great Budworth

We had perfect cycling weather for our afternoon easy ride, sunny but with a cooling breeze.

John led a 10 strong group for most of the route, but near High Legh we split into two groups, with Martin leading Jim and I on a slightly shorter option. At Great Budworth we found Paul R already working his way through tea and tealoaf, having made his own way there. The rest of the group arrived about ten minutes later, looking rather warm. The ride back via Knutsford was helped by a tail wind, and we were back in Wilmslow a little before 5. Mileage was between 31 and 34 miles, although Griff and Jim had also done a fast gravel ride in the morning so had a much higher mileage!
