The Macclesfield Supacross returns to South Park 29th DECEMBER 2024

The Macclesfield Supacross returns to its traditional Christmas-time slot in the cross calendar for 2024. The ever evolving Supacross course will be similar to last year's event, which many riders reported to be the best one yet! The course will make best use of the park's topography, featuring sharp climbs, off-cambers, switchbacks and fast cornering.

Parking is available at Macclesfield College (SK11 8LF) where you will be signed to the park.  If you chose to park elsewhere, please be courteous to the local residents and be respectful to other park users.  Sign-on will be in the park itself by the skate park, as will the toilets and a catering van. The pits are accessible via a tarmac path but please note there is strictly no rider parking in the park.

If you are new to the event or to cyclocross, then please be aware that entry is online only (use the button below). Whether you're a league regular or a local who fancies giving it a go, we'd love to see you in the park on the day.

This event is only possible due to the kind support of our club members.  We would really appreciate your help to help dismantle the course at the end of the day as we are fast losing the light.

Event details

Date: Sunday 29th December 2024 Course: South Park Macclesfield Post Code: SK11 8AT

Event sign on will be in South Park SK11 8AT. The first event starts at 10:15 am. If you are a member of British Cycling, please don’t forget to bring your membership card.

There have been lots of changes in the park over the last couple of years with new planting areas, and more protection around the trees, this means the course will be a bit different. Please respect these special areas even when not racing.

The course & sign-on

On the start line listen to the commissaire’s instructions with regards to gridding at the start and ensure that you are in the correct area. Please do not cross the course when accessing the jet wash area and give way to other park users.

Please note: sign on closes 25 minutes before each race with gridding 15 minutes prior to the race start times. Please allow enough time to sign on.
