Women's Ride Report: Winter miles = summer smiles!

Three of us turned out for the first women's ride of 2024 - myself, Jill and Claire. I think we were all glad to get out after the weather had curtailed riding plans over the last few days! It was a lovely 30 or so miles climbing over Timbersbrook with a pit stop at Glebe farm before heading back to BX. We all reflected on the importance of keeping consistency over the winter - it can be super tempting to hibernate but once you get out its really good fun!

I would love to see these rides better supported amongst women in the club. So if there is something stopping you coming out or if you have an idea for a future ride I'd love to hear it. The next women's ride will be Sat 17th Feb - that's the day before circuit of the edge so it'll be a fairly short spin to a cafe to save our legs!
