Easy riding into Autumn
We have had some mixed weather for our easy rides over the summer months, but we made the most of any dry weather, and some of us also braved the rain.
Sunday easy rides have included afternoon rides to Great Budworth and High Legh village halls for homemade cake, and morning rides to Church Minshull, Dunham, Plumley, Blaze Farm, Jodrell Bank, Brereton and Rudyard Lake. We even attempted another ride to Chester, but after torrential rain during the cafe stop at Rose Farm, Utkinton, a very wise decision was made to head back home.
Thursday morning extra easy rides have visited Barnshaw Smithy at Mobberley, Sandy Lane tearoom at Whirley, the Old Barn at Marton, the Lambing Shed, and Booths Park near Knutsford, Bidlea ice cream farm, Beeches at Ollerton, Adlington along the Middlewood Way, and the Wizard tea room.
Sunday easy rides for the next couple of months have been added to the club calendar, showing start points. The destinations and routes will be added closer to the dates, depending upon weather forecasts.
Thursday extra easy rides will be pop ups over the autumn and winter, and will be added to the calendar on the Tuesday of the same week, if the weather looks good and a ride leader is available.
