Sunday Easy Ride to High Legh

11 of us were out for today's easy ride from Wilmslow to High Legh Garden Centre.

John led Yvonne, Kirsten, Jim, Griff, Phil, Simon R, trike Jack and Simon G (without his battery assistance this week) on the longer version of the route. Gawsworth John and I took a shorter route at a gentler pace into a chilly headwind and succeeded in our mission to purchase our refreshments and reserve some seats before the rest arrived. The food arrived quickly, Griff surprised us by ordering a salad, but counterbalanced it with one of the superlative cherry scones available there. We rode together on the way back and enjoyed a tail wind and sunshine until a short sharp hail shower spoilt our fun. Next week we will be partaking in the Circuit of the Edge.
