Easier Training Ride Thursday 28th March

There was no danger of missing last orders for chips after a nippy ride at 10-2-7 last night.

It was one of the quickest for a while for the main event to the bottom of Artist Lane due to fair weather and a mixed but experienced group working hard together in well disciplined chain gang.

Good to have Monica E out with us for a change joining regulars; Col Y, Rich T, Andy R, Ant L, Dave A and yours truly Fred W making up a super seven.

It was a bit disappointing that despite our hard work keeping on schedule they had run out of our favorite selections; Cajun, Garlic and Plain Chips. But I don’t think most of us could go any harder up Artist lane and back over Whirley.

It will be different again next week, this is the clubs entry level chain gang and with the lighter evenings now is a good time to give it a go. Everyone finds the step up hard at first but don’t worry we wont get cross if we ‘re a few minutes later at the Park Tavern, we always seem to make it somehow and there’s always peanuts and crisps.
