Easier Training Ride @10-2-7 on 12th March

A sensible seven were at Broken X for the easier training ride @ 10-2-7 last night.

Not Fozzy though he did the 9-2-7 ride solo. Shadowing us round he should have been well impressed by our tight formation. There was no hideing from a strong headwind and Christain, Boothey, Ant, Bennett, Andy, Jim and Fred worked really well together on a hard night.
It changed at Byley to a blustery side wind and eventually tailer, we had felt a few spots of rain as we crossed the A50 and the forecast was 50% chance of that but by the time we got to Toft/Severn Sisters it was definitely 150% wet and washed out. Adapting the ride to suit to prevailing conditions and the moans and groans we headed straight for Chelford via Whipping Stocks then on through Henbury.
So sadly there's no Pexhill action to report on but ride of the night goes to (slingshot) Jim πŸ†. He tucked nicley on the front when he moved in, didn't moan half as much as some and finished super strong on the final push up to Henbury and Broken X.
It was my turn to get the round of chips in the PT so I did my best to hang onto Jim going up there and got to the bar well ahead of the others. To well actually as they never got there at all, maybe they went home to preserve their immune systems or self isolate. Three portion's of chips🍟🍟🍟 takes some eating but i had no trouble drinking thier beer.🍺🍺🍺🍺
