No Training @10-2-7 on 2nd April

When that the clocks go back and its officially the summer training season we like to welcome back a few riders who go missing over the winter.

Maybe put of by the cold and blustery wind a few regulars trained on their turbo’s but summer regular Elliot was was first out of the block’s shortly after 8 with with a sub 10 mile ride and all easily done by 9. Another summer regular Griff was at the other end of the scale with the longest ride🥇, 37.58 miles.

Fozzy was out for an hour and a half on a steady 25 mile effort and its looks likes Dave did a short one on a folding bike, I hope he doesn't turn up at Broken X on that.

The fastest of the 10-2-7 crew was Jim on his commute, 18.6 & 18.7 mph, there and back, we often don’t manage that on the chain gang. From the fast department Ollie was also out clocking up just under 20 miles at 18.5mph.

Having checked out the wind direction Fred headed up the Cat as also did Bhima and Gordon. I hardly noticed any wind at all on the way up and it all seemed surprisingly easy but when I turned right onto the Dunbers road it suddenly seemed like it wasn’t a very good plan after all.

Front line NHS worker Jochem actually did the 10-2-7 circuit and reported a good tailwind up Pexhill so he definatley get a cheer👏👏👏.

Lets hope for better weather next week, turbo’s can be dangerous John J has reportedly fallen of his. Stay safe on the roads.
