Wednesday Club Run to Betley
A fine ride for January with some winter sunshine and a few hills
Seven of us (Dave W, Dave H, Chris, Moray, Phil, Steve and Raph) took advantage of a change in the weather from snow on Tuesday to sunshine on Wednesday to record a 58 mile ride to Betley via Timbersbrook, Biddulph and Alsager (4h 24m, 3300 ft and 13 mph). After a variety of refuelling selections at Betley tea rooms we then made our way home via Winterley, Radnor Bank and Siddington successfully negotiating some mucky roads and a few sections of standing water
