Wheelers eat the Snowdrop Cafe out of fruitcake.

Mick O and Andy J had already been, sampled the fruitcake and left by the time the 1-0-clock club run got to Grasslands last saturday (they were one pint ahead of us at the Kings Head as well😎).

Newish member Geoff, Dave R, and your’s truly had the last three large pieces so Dave W at the end of a que of forteen of us had to settle for carrot cake, I don't think he was too disappointed though.

The afternoon ride overall certainly wasn't disappointing, not the furthest and not the fastest but a relaxed social one with a good turnout and cross section of member’s old and new. Rachel L also a newish member, enjoyed her first 1-0-clock outing with some club stalwarts, club run regulars and so on. In addition to the aforementioned; Chris, Caroline, Yogi, Russel, Roger, Jill, Mark, Dave H and Pete J. A large bunch like that can be difficult to manage so thanks everyone for riding sensibly and keeping it together with experienced rider’s setting a good example.

All good and there should be another 1-0-club run in two weeks.
