Ride report - Just a ride
3 went out despite the cold wind.
Forsaking sitting on the sofa and watching Eastenders we enjoyed a social ride on a dry November evening!
We utilised the SAS tactics and Chris Boardman coaching advice when cycling in a cold wind. I can share this information with you all, but only this once, vis:
a: Wear a hat and gloves,
b; cycle a bit slower.
We rode a slightly extended JAR route in reverse, anti-clockwise, CCW, backwards, whatever you want to call it (we didn’t actually ride backwards, it wasn’t that windy) which basically is:
Langley, the-unbelievably-probably-steepest-hill-in-the-world-if-you-believe-some-people- Coalpit Lane, Rainow, Bolly, Prestbury, Over Alderley, Birtles, Gawsworth, Oakgrove, Fools Nook and back to the pub before 20:40, in tiime for a few drinks, a chat with our 10-2-7 chums and a yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy slice of Bailey’s cheesecake!
Remember, you can always watch Eastenders on iPlayer!
