Saturday Club Run To Grasslands On 8th Febuary

Last Saturdays club run wasn't the longest…..

…….or the hilliest, or the fastest and it wasn't even the coldest but it definitely wasn't the warmest.

It was warm enough though in the Snowdrop Cafe at Grasslands and even though it felt like it could rain at any time it didn’t and the roads were relatively dry. That’s when we were “on road” but the route out did take us “off road” a couple of times to keep things interesting. After those little  secteur’s around Wilmslow and Mobberly we cracked on through Ashley past Tatton Park to Knutsford with a couple of good chap’s on the front and a push from a slight tailwind.

After the break we headed back though Goostrey and another short secteur at Chelford before the sting in the tail up Artist Lane which hasn’t got any easier since last years Barry Hyde Circuit Of The Edge but at least we know what to expect next sunday 😤.

The next Saturday Club Run will be on the 22nd February, there’s no plan yet apart from meet in the park at 10:30 AM. It will definately be a different destination and route but similar in so much as a steadish and social ride.
