Sat 20th April - 1pm Ride - Edale

Sat 1pm ride to Edale - 20plus riders met up at Coopers cafe in Edale on a glorious Easter Saturday. Two groups formed at South Park with the younger faster riders heading out first before meeting up again in Whaley Bridge. We then headed out to Chapel before climbing up to Mam Nick. The route down from Mam Tor was very busy with lots of cyclists and cars. Coopers cafe had been warned in advance we were arriving and we were promptly served with cakes, beans and tea. From the cafe we headed out to Hope and then over the broken road to the top of the valley - posing on the way for our photo op and to sing happy birthday to Dave. From there we headed to Peak Forest and back to Macc via Buxton. It would appear that our weather this weekend is much hotter and drier than Spain where there has been flooding!
