Lark Ride to Tideswell (20 Oct 2018)
Beautiful hilly autumn ride in great cycling weather. We could have done without:
the busy A623 bit at mile 22 (did it lots of times on club runs with John but at a quieter time of day), and
the second off-road bit at mile 25 (we rode it).
We did do without:
the first off-road bit at mile 12 (we turned round).
I could not have done without:
the fabulous countryside in the autumn of the year
my fabulous companions in surely the summer of their cycling years (or spring in Mon’s case)
my vegan cheese on toast and baked beans and tea with soya milk at H&D Exotic Teas cafe in Tideswell.
