Wednesday Club Run to Wheelock
To rain or not to rain today?
The BBC radio weather forecast was for rain and the Met Office predicted low percentages for rain. The Met Office won and the weather actually out did both with periods of sunshine in the afternoon. The other big news was no floods encountered. Six at the start Steve, Dave W, Dave H, Raph, Chris and me. Cool weather on the way to Wheelock and Paul H dropped into the group for several miles and managed to hang onto our wheels.
It seems the cafes are getting busier these days even during the week. Service was good though as we managed to order before a big group.
The second part of the ride was almost Spring like (but without the appropriate warmth).
Things can only get better!!!!
