Sunday Training Ride Report

Seven Wheelers set off from Bollington on the Sunday morning training ride.

The tempo was brisk as we headed through Tatton Park. After a week off Monica had to put a big effort in to catch up after missing the start because her garage door would'n’t open (a similar excuse to “the dog ate my homework”).

We continued through Goostrey dropping Monica off to watch one of her team and the other Wheelers riding the TT. Steve left for fathers day duty in Swettenham, leaving six of us to tackle Mow Cop, Bosley Cloud and the Telegraph climb on the way back to Macc.

Dom and Shaun battled it out for most of the KOM’s leaving Rich, Jo, Mark and myself trailing in their wake.

Next week we are heading for a loop around Snake Pass. It would be good to have a big group out and fingers crossed for better weather.
