Half the World Away: the story of a jersey
A few days ago this photograph was posted on our Twitter feed by Sara from Dulwich Paragon Cycling Club.
It shows Naing, one of the local guides, wearing a Wheelers top. I was intrigued as to how one of our tops was being worn by a local 5000 miles away. A few clicks of the mouse and it turns out that Paul left Naing the top (and a pair of bib shorts) as a memento when he was in Myanmar in January 2017.
Paul has clearly started a trend because Sara left one of her helmets. At a time when social media often gets a bad press, it is nice to be able to report about how it can also bring people together.
