Sunday Easy Ride to Shipbrook

15 Macclesfield Wheelers celebrated Father's Day with a ride to Shipbrook.

7 started from Wilmslow, 7 started from Macc, and Simon G attempted and failed to meet us enroute, so met us at the cafe. The weather was much better than the Friday forecast so we all stayed dry.

The Wilmslow 7 rode together as far as Peover, and then ‘short cut Kath’ took Damian and Pat down a narrow track and lane to Boots Green. There was then a Garmin faff, and Pat's sense of direction proved to be better than the Garmin, so Damian renamed her ‘Patnav’.

Shipbrook was busy but the food was excellent. We met club rejoiner Martin J, who had joined the ride from Broken Cross led by Rebecca. Both groups enjoyed some banter before heading back, with an ice cream stop at Redesmere for some, and a second cafe stop in Alderley for others.
