Sunday Easy Rides in the rain

24 of us got very wet today!

20 turned out for John’s longer ride to Betley tea rooms. Rain stopped play early for several riders, there was a short hold up at a level crossing, and a misbehaving cleat related incident, but 17 riders made it to the tearoom in time for a break in the downpours. Well done to Caroline and to Damian for their longest ride yet.

I went for the shortest Sunday ride yet with Kirsten, Sarah and Martin, to Barnshaw Smithy. We also had torrential rain, so I put in a short cut on the way back, to give a grand total of 14 miles!
