Wintry easy ride to Grasslands

With sub zero temperatures and the threat of snow there were just 8 of us out in the flatlands of Cheshire.

Jim, John and I set off from Wilmslow, whilst Simon Gr, Simon Ga, John B, Rebecca and Mark rode from Macclesfield. The roads were dry and the only hazard was icy puddles at the edges of the road, so no black ice. The two groups arrived within a few minutes of each other, just as the first few snow flakes started to land.

By the time we had eaten the snow was starting to stick, so we took the most direct route home, without incident.
