Sunday Training Ride

Since I’ve been a bit lax on ride reports I thought I’d actually get round to one from Sunday. As I headed out to the town hall in drizzle I thought it could be a hard day out but it was great to see us with 11 out and we headed out to Lymm and Little Bollington and back up the Col du Rostherne as GT has aptly named it and back via Byley to see Ben out working with the GB lads.

Really good well disciplined group out and plenty of catching up of what’s gone on over Christmas. Our yearly off piste adventure away from the usual lanes on New Years Eve to Snake & Winnats is already gaining legendary status but it was obviously a case of what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger as we were hitting good speeds and a decent average.

All eyes turned towards clear favourite for Pexhill Greg who was looking like he’s hitting some pre baby form. Our attempts to thwart him in were in vain but everyone committed and it was a good battle to the top.

I’m leading again next weekend but hopefully it will be someone different the next 2 weekends after that as I’m away….keep your heads down if you don’t want to be asked haha!!
