Sunday Training Ride
Yesterday as I waited at ten past 9 under the shelter of the Townhall I expected no one to turn up with snow & rain forecast but to my surprise we headed out with a solid group of 8 riders…
Ollie, Ben, Greg, Dominic, Steve, Ant, Tom & myself. I’d like to say we headed out enthusiastically but I’m not sure that would be accurate! We headed out to Lymm, battling the wind & rain & periodically checking we still had all of our fingers & toes sharing stories of the previous days racing for many of us. We cut the route slightly short so it was closer to 2.5hrs. We finished up Pexhill with Ben taking the honours . Tom took up the flamme rouge having found his calling as a bunch sprinter the previous day at Darley Moor. I took no photo’s as it was a higher priority to keep the hands warm! Next week we are out for the Richard Elliot. Hopefully we will have better weather and another good group out.
