Gravel/MTB ride around Manchester Airport (honest).
31 miles, 1000 ft, quite flat with lots of off road sections. There is a fair amount of mud around but any bike with decent tyres 28mm or wider will be ok. Mountain bikes will be ok too. There are some public footpaths and a footbridge so wear suitable shoes. Cafes are available in Handforth around the half way mark if desired. If you like exploring dirt tracks and bridleways away from the main road, and you don’t mind getting muddy, you’ll love this ride.
