Outward ride via the flattish route of Bollington, Pott Shrigley, Norbury Hollow, Marple and Marple Bridge. At this point the ride heads upwards along Hollins Lane,  Gun Road, New Mills Rd joining Glossop Road in Chisworth, thence heading into Glossop.

The return could be back along Glossop Rd, turn up New Mills Rd, and then into New Mills.  Then Church lane, Marsh lane and join Dolly Lane going into Whaley Bridge and thence to home!
