Easy riders get Christmassy

19 of the Easy riders met up for a Christmas meal organised by Alicia last Friday at the Slug & Lettuce in Wilmslow. Once we had got used to seeing each other in 'civvies', the conversation flowed, ranging across topics as diverse as the poor state of the Transpennine trail through Barnsley, acrylic nails, the meaning of pampas grass and sciatica. The food was good, and when the live band started playing, the talking stopped and the dancing started. A breakaway group headed for the Kings Arms and started plotting a trip away for next year. Thanks again to Alicia for organising a great evening.
Today's ride had 15 easy riders making the most of the good weather to ride from Broken Cross/Siddington to Goostrey Home & Leisure, where we came across Eddie and John Bethell. Paul and Richard added some festive spirit to the ride with a Santa hat and red nose. The average speed was 13.4 mph, total distance 26 miles from Siddington (33 from Broken Cross).
Our next ride is on Boxing Day to Styal Mill.
