M&DTTA 100

Postby PaulT » Mon Jul 02, 2007 9:40 am

I finally managed to beat the 5 hour mark in the M&DTTA 100 time trial on Sunday.  Beating my previous best by nearly 15 minutes and winning the handicap in the process.  So 4:45:34 to beat next year!

Thanks to Greg Rowson (who was setiing-up the finish line for the Road Race) for the shout when heading down the A34 for the last time, it was much appreciated.

Great ride Paul. "Sporting" doesn't begin to describe the course and anyone who completed it without getting lost deserves a medal IMO.  I spent a happy half hour trying to follow the course instructions and was none the wiser.  Get on a good course and you'll knock 30 mins off that time.  Amazing winning ride by Neil Skellern as well - 4 minutes over 4 hours on a course like that!

Belated congrats from me too. Must have been that Chirk '200' that laid the foundation for it?
Must also add that I'm impressed with your garden. You've either worked very hard (core strength contribution) or you've a jolly good helper.
R U going for the 12 hour next?

AKA Mr Grub Street - whatever that implies!
