I'll be out tomorrow (Fri 20th Nov), rain/gales permitting: 1pm Macc railway station for a 2 hr ride... unless anyone wants to go out earlier (Roger?).

flat or hilly? i've got mudguards on my winter bike but that won't get me up the hills with a lowest ratio of 42 x 25.

thanks for taking care of me after yesterday's crash, especially to john bags for not coming off as well and making it a worse crash.

fractured collar bone ligaments will see me out of action for about 3 weeks :pale:

Huw

Sorry to hear that. What happened? All too easy to come down at this time of the year - I have the scars and ripped kit to prove it  Hope you're back on the bike soon.

my fault entirely, i managed to touch the back wheel of john bags' bike. not quite sure what happened after that, i've touched wheels in a group before without problems before. anyway, i managed to go down with enough force to break the ligament in my right shoulder, and also snap of a piece off my look delta cleat.

i think i went into shock for a bit, but fortunately the chaps looked after me and i ended up in cycle store in congleton awaiting a lift from the wife.

the bike's still at the shop, so i'll have to nip over and get it when i can either drive or cycle…

I was right behing you Hugh. You did a spectacular left-right-left weave across my path before finally diving out of my way!
I'm sure the dodgey headset didn't help.

Hope you get better soon...

Dave.

Hi Dave.

I may go out in the morning for a soft ride, the ribs are still very painful. I won't be out in the afternoon though.

Cheers
