Here's a reminder for everyone that Dave Harbottle has organised a great weekend in Wales.
There will be road rides, mountain bike rides and walking going on as well as the usual partying at night.
Let Dave know you're coming and get your payments in to him, we need to know numbers for the food!
If yuo have any questions about it let either Dave or Pete McGuckian know.
This event is coming up fast - please let me know if you intent coming.
We're also seeking a cook for Saturday night - any volunteers?
If not, someone will have to take a drive down to the chippy or Indian takaway.
happy to cook again, Dave. I'll do a chilli or stew. Can someone else do a veggie option? Or I can bring ingredients for pasta thing as per last year and cook on the day. Can you let me know the likely numbers nearer the time?
That would be brilliant Richard, thanks very much for offering to do this again.
PM sent with further details...
Here's reminder that all are welcome to come to Wales to stay for the weekend, cycling walking and partying.
Please don't be shy, step up and tell us if you want to come.
It's a great weekend and a real bargain.
Enjoy your cycling!!
There are 22 confirmed going to date. There's plenty of room for more, if you'd like to join us...
Hope my names on the list.
I'll be walking if anyone fancies a mountain bimble.
Working on logistics without a bike if anyone wants to offer a car share.
The beer for next weekend is the Storm stalwarts 'Bosley Cloud' and 'Pale Gale Ale'. As usual, a bargain at £1 a pint! If you are not a real ale fan, may I suggest you bring your own favourite tipple. There seems to be a lot of people coming this year....with only 108 pints on offer, I suspect it may all get guzzled! Also, if anybody would like a bike or gear taken, there is plenty of room in my van. perhaps people can car share and let me carry stuff for them? let me know. Andyjak
As discussed this morning. My bike and Joe Brownboots bike need taking to Wales.
Let me know the pick up arrangements.
As I am travelling down by myself on Friday morning to do some family visiting on Anglesy, I also have plenty of room in the back of my van if anybody needs a bike or bikes taking down. Just let me Know.
Spare seat in my van....leaving macc 5.30ish should anybody recquirre it.
Dave has kindly passed on the key for the climbing hut to me as Nigel and I are going down late afternoon. We will be in the Fairy Falls from 5.30 onwards for light refreshments. We will be heading up to the hut between6.30/ 7.00 to open up and light fire and get a barrel flowing. If anyone is going early please check in at the pub before you head up to the hut as this is the only key. Enjoy your weekend boys weather looks dry. Cheers Mark.
