Cast your vote

Postby Si ward » Sun Nov 02, 2014 1:22 pm

The club kit sub committee have come up with a club kit survey for members
to express their opinions on kit colour and design.

The sub committee have listened to people's views on the existing kit and have made a few changes to the design. However, this new kit will work with your exisitng clothing (colour dependent).

The link is below and is deliberately short and concise (it took me 30
seconds to take part).

Please read both questions carefully and make sure you tick the right box.

For the avoidance of doubt, and without wishing to show prejudice :-D

Light Orange = The original and proper tangerine
Dark Orange = That awful red

It might be worth changing the colour descriptions on the survey ?

I thought the subcommittee was coming up with a new modern design?
.... the proposed new design doesn't look much different! hope you not paid £ for the effort that's gone into the new one lol

Can't BioRacer come up with a few new designs?

So unfortunately, I'm not able to complete the Survey :afro:

Everyone had the chance to be on the sub committee, therefore have their input on design any other decisions. If you don't want to have any input then that is you decision.

Funny you should say that!
I did express an interest and was asked by a couple of people to be involved, however, it was made clear to me that someone leading this process had a fixed agenda and my involvement didn't fit with that :afro:

Is this correct? Who refused your request to be part of the sub-committee?

Think you need to be careful with what you do. I am not a great fan of the colours but you need to be aware that the colours are registered with British Cycling as Tangerine, black and green.

I should not imagine that BC commissaires are specifically instructed to precisely interpret cycling clubs's registered designs/ colours. Some may even be colour blind?

Thus I suggest that the only precaution that should be observed is not to wear a jersey manufactured by Tal, of which some of us are still proud owners.

By the way, even they managed to exasperate certain members as from one delivery to another, there was a measurable variance in the green they supplied!

Point well made Mike. I intend to order a garment that will be safely stored and used to check that there has been no changes in manufacture from one order to the next. This can also be used to show colour and design if we ever need to change supplier.
