It is with great sadness we have to report that James Ennis passed away last week. Many will remember his witty forum posts as "Eccles Pike". Funeral details are tbc. The club would like to pass on its condolences to Jim's family at this sad time.

Funeral details:
12:00 noon Thursday 3rd March at Macclesfield Crematorium.
Followed by a drink @ The Dog and Partridge Bollington.
Family flowers only.
If wished, donation to charity of your choice.

Thanks. Have a dental appointment at 2.10 p.m. Glad it doesn't clash. Also will make a donation to Cyclists Defence Fund.

taken from us far too young. i'll never forget jim's great sense of irony; who else would laconically describe me as 'like bahamontes' for getting out of the saddle occasionally…

RIP Jim, you, and your excellent photography will be missed :salut:
